Marianjoy offers several programs and services that patients and community members can utilize before, during or after treatment. These are designed to help you engage in your life in the most fulfilling ways. Whether that means getting back behind the wheel, earning your degree, finding meaningful employment or learning more about your condition, Marianjoy is here for you.


AbilityLinks utilizes technology and personal interaction to match qualified individuals with disabilities to companies that embrace diversity. Job-seekers connect to employers by posting résumés, applying for jobs and contacting AbilityLinks for information and referrals. AbilityLinks also offers virtual job fairs, employment and disability webinars and interview skills workshops. This service is provided at no cost to job-seekers and employers. AbilityLinks is responsible for over 700 reported job placements, as well as valuable assistance to thousands of additional candidates.

Marianjoy Scholarship Program

Marianjoy established this scholarship fund in 1994 to help students with permanent physical disabilities to further their education, explore new possibilities and pursue a career. Each year, scholarships for post-high school education are awarded to students with disabilities to enable them to pursue educational programs at accredited four-year colleges and universities, two-year colleges or vocational-technical schools in the United States.

Marianjoy Driver Rehabilitation Program

The Marianjoy Driver Rehabilitation Program provides driver assessment, behind-the-wheel evaluations and education for teens and adults with disabilities or limitations. It is also the only program in Illinois that includes a specialized low-vision program, and it is the only Driver Rehabilitation program in the Chicago area that is also a certified driving school. We meet the state requirements for driver education and can coordinate services with high schools.

Marianjoy Support Groups

These support groups are provided at no cost to the participants as a service to the community. All groups meet at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois unless otherwise noted.
