Joint Access Program

The Joint Access Program, a specialized team of physicians and clinicians, works with patients experiencing orthopaedic issues related to injuries; pain; hip and knee replacements; shoulder surgeries or congenital conditions.

As a premier facility for treating orthopaedic issues, Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, now part of Northwestern Medicine, continually strives to improve and advance treatment plans for patients. Through ongoing monitoring of patients' outcomes and research, the team adjusts its protocols and treatment plans to deliver the best care possible, getting patients back to their normal daily activities. In addition, the clinical team collaborates with the patient's surgeon, gathering input on their physician's particular plan of care.

Keeping You Moving

The Joint Access Program offers comprehensive and multiple levels of care to meet the patient's specific needs. A variety of programs and services, including a Balance and Vestibular Clinic; a Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic; and a warm-water aquatic therapy pool, complement the program for a patient's best recovery.
